Application of PIM material in automotive pars 

Materials of PIM

Comparing with traditional casting process,PIM has its own chemical formation,physical property and mechanical property,such as interspace ,material organization,no segregation.

PIM processes save material and producing energy,have better property and high precision,  its products are adequate to be mass produced. On the other hand,PIM processes could produce the products with complex construction,PIM industry in automotive parts has a bright future.

PIM automotive application:gas vent,gears,shock absorber etc.

China PIM industry has a weak foundation,over a long period of time,there was a serious lack of quantity demand and low added value.

In 1989,the output of axial parts took 60% of total PIM parts output, in the mid-1990,automotive industry had been developing quickly.it offered a good opportunity for automotive parts’ development.
